Cancer is the uncontrolled division of abnormal cells. Cancer may begin anywhere in the body particularly in the skin, internal tissues or organs. Metastatic cancer spreads from the part of the body where it began (original site) to other parts of the body.

Metastatic cancer pain control involves the use of prescription pain medications at appropriate doses to help ease pain. Other options include physical therapy and rehabilitation, biofeedback and certain relaxation techniques.
